new year's eve in reno

I went ice skating for the first time ever in Reno on New Year's Eve! Here's a picture of me not falling down!

Here's me narrowly avoiding disaster!

All-in-all it was pretty similar to inline skating and I only nearly fell down once. After the zamboni smoothed over the ice it got little slippery, but luckily I was holding onto Rob at the time.


Before we went ice skating (but after a trip to the Reno REI to get me socks) we passed a restaurant supply store. Now that's what I call a mixer! I should have put something in the picture to show scale, the one int eh foreground is about four feet high.
